Details
This is using the Mozilla 1.0 release candidate 1 for MacOS X. The "Modern"
theme is active. User-agent string is "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X;
en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417"
On many web sites (including http://www.sluggy.com/ - as cited above), an image
seems to get lost after you save it. Here are the steps to see the problem:
1: Visit the page.
2: save the comic's image. CTRL-click the image and select "Save Image as...".
Actually saving the image is not necessary. The bug happens even if you click
"Cancel" from the save-as dialog.
3: Force a full reload of the page - SHIFT-click the reload button on the toolbar.
Notice that the image you just saved (or tried to save) is now a broken-link
image. If you view the image (CTRL-click and select "View Image") after this,
you get a popup window saying "The file <filename> cannot be found. Please
check the location and try again". When the popup is dismissed, the browser
window contains the string: "The image “<URL>” cannot be displayed, because it
contains errors."
This bug has been seen in several prior post-0.99 nightly builds.
