Hi, I was trying image filtering. Under preferences-Privacy&Security-Images, I had selected "Accept images coming from the original server only" And I need a feature to view images on a page - right now, under Tools-Image Manager, the option "unblock Images from this site" is greyed out. I would expect that to be active with my settings. thanks, Nagu

I don't see any problem here. You set your pref to accept from original server only. But you never said to block images from current page. So why shouldn't the unblock-images-from-current-site button be greyed out? Unless I'm missing something here, this bug report is invalid. If you think I'm wrong, then please reopen and give more of an explaination. Or is this not a bug but rather a request for an enhancement?

Consider this as an enhancement request. I guess I didn't express clearly. Suppose I have images blocked that are not from original server and one web page is rendered with full of holes. But I want to see those pictures(all those juicy pictures in yahoo!). Under Tools/Image manager, if there is a button that says "Load all images in the current page", I will attain the browsing Nirvana!. thanks, Nagu

Mass reassigning of Image manager bugs to mstoltz@netscape.com, and futuring. Most of these bugs are enhancement requests or are otherwise low priority at this time.

There are quite a lot of sites that load images not on the sever, that it would be useful to be able to see. A pretty obvious example is http://bugzilla.mozilla.org. With the "only load from server" setting on , the www.mozilla.org banner disappears! Other sites have more imortant images - for example, www.multimap.co.uk has the maps delivered from www.multimap.com. So you don't actually see the maps unless you accept all images.
this is dependent on whitelisting functionality - part of the UI followup to the backend work.

Please reopen this feature request. The bug 202608 is not exactly what I had in mind. According to that, a single blocked image is opened. My request was an option somewhere (right mouse on the page or some toolbar option) that says display all the images in this page.

Might be a dup of bug 57505. I can't figure out if that bug is for when third-party images are blocked, for when images are disabled completely, or both.
