[Steps to reproduce]:
1.Install the following extensions:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/momentumdash/?src=search
2.Open some new tabs.
3.Disable/Uninstall the extension.
4.Observe the opened tabs.
[Expected results]:
- The raw address of the extension is not displayed in the URL bar and the new tab is working as expected.
[Actual results]:
- The raw address of the extension is displayed across the opened tabs.
- Refreshing or restarting the web page will not have any effect.

When its disabled or uninstalled, the check against the installed add-on fails and the URL shows up. I'm not too concerned about that, the add-on is gone the special privileges it has are gone. We should probably be closing those pages and so I'm duping that part of to bug 1399655.
