This never was not a dup of bug 32966. The urls in question contain hostnames, this is just a case of missing //. We can expect page authors to do this.
Okay, I take it back. This bug was a dupe of bug 32966, the two links for CA406 Computer Architecture VSD425 VLSI Systems Design (Course Outline Only) are now fixed, but the patch "broke" the link for Block Diagram Transformations Block Diagram Examples because it is now interpreted as a relative url, but is meant as an absolute, just with the two // missing. That is the link: Block Diagram Transformations Previously this url would have been "fixed" by the urlparser because it was interpreted as absolute. This no longer happens. Too bad, but this is just plain bad html. So this still is tech-evang ... but reduced to one bad link.
changing summary to reflect new situation
Summary: Relative Url on this page cant be accessed → Bad absolute Url link on this page cant be accessed (Block Diagram Transformations)
The guy is using at least four different kinds of syntax in his URLs. A small sample:
CLP110/CT105(ii)

PLSD210

CA406

VSD425

Algorithm Animations

Block Diagram Transformations
And he's a freaking computer scientist; it staggers the mind. What kind of programming language would accept that kind of variation without choking?
