Not sure if this is Global History or URLbar or what, but....
When Autocomplete sorts matches for the URLbar, URLs that have been typed in
manually should take priority over other URLs (click on or whatever)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.View some pages, esp. frameset pages by typing in the address in the URLbar
2.Type something into the URLbar
3.

Actual Results: Mozilla often sorts frames or links ahead of the "main" page
which was typed in the URLbar.

Expected Results: Autocomplete should give priority to URLs that have actually
been typed in, rather than URLs for links / frames within a page

Sorry about the vagueness in steps to reproduce, but I think you know what I
mean. This bug was stemmed off of bug 97470
Bug 121471 also requires keeping track of whether an address was typed by the user.
I just want to second this bug as it is a major annoyance.
+1, this is nearly a show-stopper for me using the FF3 builds.
+1, switch to FF3, and this is just killing me compared to FF2.

I know by heart the first 2-5 letters of the websites I want to go to based up manually entered URL history. Instead of matching the first/best obvious choice URLs I manually entered, it's matching URLs differently.

For example, I've got both 'google.com' and 'mail.google.com' in my history, manually entered. Now when I start typing 'mail', 'mail.google.com comes up'. But when I start typing 'google':

1) Up to 'goo', 'mail.google.com' is top choice, and 'google.com' is second choice.
2) Once I get to 'goog', 'google.com' is the top choice, and 'mail.google.com' is second choice.

In FF2 'go' used to be sufficient to bring up the google home page for me.

Darn this is annoying, as I keep ending up in my mail instead of at the search.

If I want this behavior in FF3.5 do I have to start a new RFE for that? Also, others who have commented, "+1", why not vote for this bug?
