Not sure if this a duplicate (or additional functionality) of showfor support in bug 1333452

Support in-product urls using OS, VERSION, LOCALE tuple for Firefox Focus for Android & iOS What's new page

i.e. so engineering can have the same url for every release for What's New or any other SUMO page

e.g. so
https://support.mozilla.org/1/mobile/%VERSION%/%OS%/%LOCALE%/whats-new-focus-android

and 

https://support.mozilla.org/1/mobile/%VERSION%/%OS%/%LOCALE%/whats-new-focus-ios works

:giorgos :bensternthal: Sure would be nice to have this in 1st half of 2018, not sure where this sits in your prioritization with :pmcclard

Roland, yes, this is what I'm looking for. We want to be able to switch on version, os and locale to see different (localized) content, so that our iOS and Android clients don't have to keep updating URLs with every release.

showfor and redirects are two separate functions and they are not related in any way.

I don't understand the ask of this bug. AFAIK you can create the needed redirects through the admin panel. Can you please explain that's not working for you exactly?

I don't know exactly what i am asking either :giorgos :-)

I mean I don't know how to phrase it in discrete, actionable bugs but here's what i want :giorgos, feel free to close this vague bug as WONTFIX and open new bugs or talk about it in slack, irc, email or the all hands:

I) For Firefox for Focus for iOS and Android for the KB and the AAQ, we would like exactly what desktop and Fennec have:
  1) redirects working for Firefox Focus for iOS and Android (and Klar)  as per Fennec and Desktop using the admin panel, for OS, LOCALE and VERSION variable 
  2) showfor working for the KB for Firefox Focus for iOS and Android (and Klar)  as per Fennec and Desktop
  3) automatic browser details detection working for the AAQ for Firefox for iOS and Android (and Klar)  as per Fennec and Desktop

1) might already be working for Focus and Klar, right :giorgos? I think that's what you are saying in comment 3
2) and 3) are feature requests right :giorgos?

II) We would like I) for Firefox for iOS, again another feature request for 2018, no idea when in 2018 :-)

III) Assuming Firefox Rocket is supported in 2018 over multiple versions we would like I) for Firefox Rocket again another feature request for 2018

IV) And I know I am dreaming :-) I) for any new mobile experiences in 2018 that are supported over multiple versions.

hey susheel, we should chat but bear in mind:
1) support.mozilla.org aka kitsune is in break / fix mode and there are no developers, :giorgos does the break/fix stuff, anything else including feature work like this bug needs to be approved by :giorgos's manager :bensternthal
2) having said 1) I see no problem with Susheel, Giorgos, Roland (and joni optionally) discussing this over Austin Y'allhands breakfast or lunch or coffee break to see if there's anything quick/easy we can do and to clarify for :giorgos since bugzilla is not designed for this type of discussion

I will email the four of you separately, setting this bug to wontfix for now (we can re-open later if we think we need it)
