Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171030163911 Steps to reproduce: - Use Tree Style Tab (or any other extension that uses sidebars, like "sidebar notepad"). - Open new private window. Actual results: Sidebar button is enabled, but no sidebar is showing. Expected results: It should show the same sidebar as the window it was open from. If this is done due to privacy concerns, I think extensions should have a parameter for telling Firefox it's a browsing UI feature and not for loading some remote service. Maybe it can be detected automatically by the URIs of the frames contained.
Probably a duplicate of bug 1313401 (via bug 1395932).
