User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171121103731 Steps to reproduce: Hi, I like new Firefox Quantum, it's quite fast, modern and nice. I went back to firefox from vivaldi (it's chromium-based browser). Now when I'm again deprived of this feature (it's working fine in vivaldi and chrome), I found the strength to write this bug report. There's one thing that always made me furious in firefox - there is the absence of a normal story. Actual results: For now the history is showns as is, you can sort it by date, BUT if you visit same links many times it will be updated in history too, and saved ONLY the last visit. In my opinion this is unacceptable behavior. There is no way for list which links I exactly visited in some date if I already visited theese links after this moment again. Expected results: I want to have cler and simple history. I want to open some date and see all the links which I visited on this date. From some time to some time, without these automatic removing of links.

Actually we do store the full history, every single visit, but the views only show the most recent one. Though, the date containers will show all the urls visited in that date. Fwiw, I don't think we should fix this by changing the views to show single visits, we should instead create a completely new UI to retrieve things from history, with better filters and a non-infinite list of visits.
Summary: Consider storing a full history of visits for each page → Provide a better history UI
