User reported that extensions popups (containers in the screenshot) do not adapt to font size changes in Windows 10 (here 125%), showing scrollbars instead of resizing for the enlarged content. Resetting the font and apps size to 100% in display settings makes. Personally I cannot reproduce or investigate the behaviour more now, as I do not have a machine with Windows 10. If needed I can try to run them as VM.

This does indeed seem to be a problem. I have been able to kind of reproduce your users behaviour running the latest version of Windows 10 on a fresh build. Although with a slight difference in which the box does not even produce scroll bars but the content just overflows.
this has been reported due to my experience :) I have both behavior with scrollbars and with owerflows ... some addons have scrollbars and some owerflows. W10/64-bit, FF57-64bit

I wonder if this is a dupe of bug 1387340, although it sounds like in this case there is no multi DPI setup involved.

So this sorta doesn't reproduce anymore, at least with a few extensions I tried, including ABP and Dark Mode. The size of the panel is staying the same, so we're either not propagating font sizing to content, or perhaps they changed to use non-relative sizes.

In general, setting the Windows fonts size isn't applied consistently in Firefox (or more generally other apps). While most UI elements have increased font size, most of them seem to stay the same size, with often odd results.

I believe the recommended way in modern days is to scale the whole screen instead, in which case this is not a problem anymore.

Closing as invalid, unless someone has a good (specific) idea what should be done here.
