User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171112125346 Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a date-input in HTML: <input type="date"> 2. Click on the date input to select any date. Actual results: The selected date is shown as MM/DD/YYYY format. Expected results: The date should show in the format of the user device's locale format, e.g. DD/MM/YYYY or DD-MM -YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD.

Apparently the bug will be fixed with Firefox 58.
