User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0 Build ID: 20171123161455 Steps to reproduce: Installed Multi-Account Containers extension few hours ago. Assigned YouTube.com to always open in a new container called "YouTube". Few hours later (few minutes ago) I open YouTube and there are no thumbnails anywhere except on playlist page, for example https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=WL shows fine. While on Youtube.com, clicked on Multi-Account Containers icon. The box that says "Always open on" was no longer checked, and the name of the container was changed from manually selected "YouTube" to "Default" https://i.imgur.com/REicJu7.png Disabled Multi-Account Containers extension, refreshed YouTube and thumbnails worked fine.
There might have been two things going on at the same time. The containers extension did reset on its own for some reason and will no longer open YouTube in its designated container, but the thumbnails issue appears to be unrelated to this. The reason thumbnails worked after disabling the extension is because I refreshed the page. It turns out if you refresh the page twice, thumbnails will work. The first refresh and extension being enabled coincided with one another, so I thought the thumbnails were gone because of the extension being enabled. Then the second refresh and disabling extension would bring back the thumbnails. Consider deleting this bug or making it about the Containers bug which caused YouTube no longer to load in its default container.
Bugs in the container functionality are being handled on GitHub. Please report the issue to https://github.com/mozilla/multi-account-containers/issues Thank you!
