Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0
Build ID: 20171118220429
Steps to reproduce:
Installed Lastpass Beta, which supports Android Oreo Autofill
Installed Firefox Nightly for Android
Disable the "Remember logins" setting under Settings -> Privacy
Go to a site with a simple login (I used news.ycombinator.com/login)
Click on the input, expecting an autofill dropdown
Actual results:
No autofill dropdown was provided, and in fact, the Autofill option isn't even available in the long-hold menu.
Expected results:
For a password or username field, autofill is automatically enabled.
For other fields, autofill is an option in the long-hold context menu.
This feature in Android should be supported by every browser, especially Firefox. This is a chance to beat Google at their own game, as Chrome mobile also doesn't support it.
