1421669 - Firefox can't connect to Internet when setting shadowsocks to global mode

Reproduce:
1.Install shadowsocks client: https://github.com/shadowsocks/ShadowsocksX-NG
2.Add ip & port information in the client's server settings.
3.Turn on shadowsocks and set it to global mode.
4.Firefox's network proxy is using system proxy settings.

Performance:
Other browsers such as Safari and Chrome can access any website normally. Any website visited by Firefox shows a connection timeout.

Expectation:
When Firefox is using system proxy settings, the performance is the same as for other browsers.

Is that all connection are broken, or only connections expected to connect through shadowsocks are broken?

All connection are broken. In the case of setting the global agent, if I use Manual proxy configuration in Firefox Connection Settings, and set socks5 host and port, then all links are accessed through the proxy.

i have same issues, and my temporary alternatives is use Proxy SwitchyOmega with shadowsocks
