On Mac, I get an assert error if the IMAP folder name has more than 31 characters an then .msf file is created an the
application level.
On Window, folder that contains a "\" like "in\out" are not shown.

Like for NNTP, we need to encode the folder name in order to be compatible with the OS File Manager

1) I believe that David already solved "\" problem on bug#20324, and other 
problems already been covered from some separate bugs (see bug#20324 listed 
other bugs numbers)
2)Used 03-09-09-M15 commercial build for all platforms(Linux/WinNT/Mac) 
I can create IMAP folder name more than 31 characters for all the platforms now.
