Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0
Build ID: 20171204234137
STR:
0) Have Firefox open with a few tabs loaded to different pages.
1) Have an application other than Firefox Nightly opened (I use IRCCloud Desktop for this), and fully covering the Firefox browser window
2) Click several link in that application so that the link opens in Firefox Nightly
3) Switch back to Nightly, and start closing tabs
ER:
You should be able to close tabs normally, seeing each successive tab as the last tab closes.
AR:
Eventually, a tab will close, and you'll be presented with a permanent tab switch spinner.
I can reproduce this with warming enabled AND disabled, so this blocks bug 1397426.
