Details

I've visited several web sites where ALT text for images appears in IE6, but not
with Mozilla build 2002050308.

Sites I've tried that the ALT text doesn't appear include:

http://www.cnn.com/
Move cursor over top story picture, no ALT text in Mozilla, alt text in IE6

http://www.yahoo.com/
Move cursor over the main "Yahoo" graphic, no ALT text saying "Yahoo" appears in
Mozilla, while it does appear in IE6.

However, the ALT text appears for images at http://www.slashdot.org/ for some
reason.

I couldn't find a bug that was similar enough to this problem, so I decided to
post this bug. My apologies if this turns out to be a duplicate.
Chris, thanks for the bug report. Mozilla does not show tooltips for ALT text
as a matter of principle. The details are discussed at length in bug 25537.
