User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0
Build ID: 20171115114231
Steps to reproduce:
1.) Have a SVG with text with paint-order="stroke" so that strokes are drawn first (and this way below) fills. This, together with a contrasting stroke color and a larger stroke-width value, enables one to have an outline effect.
2.) Set textLength to a value lower than the normally resulting text size and additionally set lengthAdjust to "spacingAndGlyphs" so that the letters themselves are shrunken and not just the space in-between them.
Actual results:
In Firefox in this case the the stroke of neighboring letters is drawn above the fill of the other letters. This makes the text hard or even impossible to read.
Expected results:
Like in Google Chrome, the stroke of each letters should be behind the fill of every letters in a <text>. It's as if all strokes are drawn first and only afterwards all the fills, unlike doing this for every letter separately.

From the screenshot you can also see that the effective stroke width differs between Chrome and Firefox. This is not related to this issue though but probably worth discussing as well.
