Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 Build ID: 20171206100053 Expected results: I have a feature request. I just had this nifty idea and would like to know what you think about it: It would be really nice to have pinned tabs shown across all windows of Firefox that are currently open. This would allow me to have Firefox on my second monitor showing me a video, opening a tab, moving it into it's own window, move it to the main monitor to do other stuff while watching and check my pinned tabs (social media) every now and then, without having to use the main window of Firefox. I don't know, if this provides the best user experience, so in that case it could be an opt-in feature. What this also allows me to do: Show a website on a beamer (secondary monitor), while editing it on my notebook. This way though it would only show the changes on the website, but could be in a very different scrolling position. Or it would in the same position, but wouldn't show my mouse etc. I know, that this might not be a primary use-case and people could use websites with js/ajax and two different instead to achieve this, but I still like the idea. And I don't think, that it's possible to achieve this with the new addon format, so it needs native support (I could be wrong though). If you like my idea, then consider voting it up or even implementing it :)
