[Affected versions]: - Firefox 57.0 - beta 58.0b10 - latest Nightly 59 [Affected platforms]: - Windows 10 x64 - Windows 8.1 x32 - Ubuntu 16.04 x32 [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Bookmark a site (ex. https://www.youtube.com/) 2. Open the folder where the bookmark is saved. 3. Right-click on the bookmark and click on Properties. 4. In the pop-up change the name of the location with a site that is not present on the home:page by default (ex. https://www.9gag.com/) then click Save. 5. Click on the changed bookmark. [Expected result]: - When https://www.9gag.com/ is opened, the star displayed on the right of the URL bar is blue. [Actual result]: - The star doesn't appear blue. It looks like the site is not bookmarked. [Regression range]: - I don't know if this is a regression, but I will try to find as soon as possible.
I managed to find a really old regression. - last good build: 20131103030204 (2013-11-03) - first bad build: 20131104044747 (2013-11-04) - pushlog: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=47c8e9b16918&tochange=b4143e04bea1

Too late to fix in 59 but we could still take a patch for 61.
Severity: normal → S3

This issue no longer occurs in our latest Builds 132.0a1 (2024-09-23), Closing with Works for Me.
