This is also a problem for my dev team. Firefox is rendering vertical scrollbars on top of content, instead of to the side of content. I'm not sure why this issue would get deprioritized, and then receive no followup for a year. Instead we will inform our customers that firefox has an issue, and that our dialogs in firefox will take up more space due to the padding we must add to hack in a fix for this. If there is a workaround available, that would be of great interest to us. Thanks.

Thanks for your report. I can reproduce this with overflow: auto per the original test case. Clearly a bug, but not at P1 level. Putting this on our quality backlog as something to address in the mid-term.

Safari matches the Firefox behaviour. Chrome differs, didn't look into which is correct though.
