User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0
Build ID: 20171128222554
Steps to reproduce:
Huh? Easily reproduced by revisiting any sites that this is happening with, i.e. Zipcar
Actual results:
Certain web pages are dark gray and (most)text is nearly impossible to read
Expected results:
Huh? Pages ought to load normally is what should be happening!
I should add that most pages open and are readable. It seems completely random which sights are affected in this way but basically, unacceptable
Please give an example URL.
Check your Font - Color settings in about:preferences#general.
This is only occurring for certain sites. For example: https://support.zipcar.com/hc/en-us/articles/220333888-How-to-Reserve
I haven't touched settings for anything display related, ever. If I recall, this may have begun after I upgraded to latest version of FF.

I'm not seeing the problem on macOS, with either Firefox 57 or Nightly; e.g. the zipcar page from comment 4 looks fine.
Could you please try a new profile, and/or run Firefox in Safe Mode (see Help / Restart with Add-ons Disabled), and confirm whether the issue persists?

Please see attachments from this a.m. Also, not happening in Safari or Chrome...

Did you try running in Safe Mode? Does it make any difference?

I did... and no change I'm afraid. Will try reverting back to previous v of firefox for comparison. Thank you for your attention!

That would be good, thanks.
Also, could you attach the troubleshooting information from about:support on your system?
This looks more like a Graphics problem than Layout:Text to me, so I'm moving it to that component in hopes that maybe someone on the Graphics team will have ideas here, or maybe be able to reproduce it.
Component: Layout: Text → Graphics
If this works in the older versions of Firefox, finding the point when it stopped would be really useful - using mozregression would accomplish that.
