I've started the translation of the evangelism letters (bug 86690) to Brazilian Portuguese. I'm assuming that it's not a duplicate since there is no Portuguese bug s on the dependency tree of bug 86690.

That's my first draft of the layer evangelism letter, I'm not sure if I have to translate the articles titles and descriptions, so I've translated all. Its not revised yet so may have grammar and spelling errors. Please Marcio and Roger, help with the review...

First draft for the webmaster evangelism letter, I had dificulty to translate "cross-browser", "set top boxes", "render engine" and the word "validador" for the "validator" don't sounds very good, so I've tried to avoid it.

Fabricio, This is great material. The minor fixes I suggest to the Layer newsletter: ---> the following sentence: +Saiba mais sobre a tag layer, -O que você precisa saber sobre a tag layer, ---> we need to update the Eric's link. This is not found!. This is actually a problem in the original newsletter.. http://sites.netscape.net/ekrockhome/standards.html Let's remove all that paragraph for now. The above two documents are okay with me.
Fabricio, the webmaster evangelism letter needs to be updated (even the english). For example this section about the http://www.mozilla.org/docs/web-developer/xbdhtml/xbdhtml.html This Eric's article is too old (it's 2000!) and have links to my personal old Illusionary web site!! which is teaching Layers!! I can be fired - I gotta fix my site at least. Anyway Eric's doc is also promoting fullscreen mode,.. I basically removed all this paragraph and also the sibling one which had the CSS code generator thing. Also replaced some wording. Again great job in the translation!! Note that my attachment is missing accents because I am using Windows without the settings to portuguese. So if you like my last review, please use the spell checker to append here.

I had passed the last Marcio's review of the webmaster evangelism letter through Word spell checker and also corrected some minor grammar errors and typos.
the english and polish versions of the tech-letter-xx.html have been checked in. What is the status of this translation? Has it been reviewed? Even if it is out of date should we check it in anyway?

Acho melhor colocar "Personalizar: bla bla bla" entre parenteses pra deixar mais explicito. Ou melhor ainda: apenas "insira algo aqui", por exemplo, sem o "Personalizar". Sobre o comment #26. Quanto ao lance de botar entre parenteses as partes onde o cara personaliza, sou a favor, precisa só verificar com alguém se aquele CUSTOMIZE em maiúsculo não é uma string pra ser substituida automaticamente, lembro que antigamente tinha um sitezinho que gerava estas cartas, não sei como é hoje. Sobre o uso de Bug no lugar de erro, nao vejo problema em mudar. Quanto ao parágrafo seguinte e a alfinetada no IE, apesar de ter gostado, acho que não é muito "polite", foge um pouco da intenção da carta, que é informar sobre os standards e não valorizar o Mozilla depreciando(mesmo que sutilmente) o IE. Sei lá, minha opinião apenas... As duas últimas observações ficaram boas! A última em particular foi mancada minha mesmo =) Valeu Jonas!
Estou reenviando a carta com as modificacoes do Marcio e algumas do Jonas (segundo meu ultimo comentário). Sei que este bug andou meio parado, peço a colaboração para revisarmos mais uma vez e quem sabe fechar este bug...
