Mike Ling did some work on supporting the MacOS X gui with mozregression, but we're not currently building/distributing it due to various flakiness issues.

It would be nice if we could make releases of mac versions of mozregression, ideally installable via brew (https://brew.sh/). Less good, but ok would be to distribute a dmg-based version similar to how we ship the current windows installer.

To avoid creating maintenance headaches, I strongly suspect we should fix bug 1425102 first. I think we would have much more luck keeping things both stable and easy to install on a python3-based foundation.

I will take this, I have this basically working on my Mac already-- should be able to have a PR up by next week or so.
