people that using mozilla and visit bugzilla are seeing "X bugs found" in every
page with reported bugs, even if some of them are dup, or invalid or just
unconfirm. and they get worng ipression on mozilla and thing that is VERY buggy,
lets say, in this artical

the writer says "in fact, as I write, the logs on Mozilla.org show that
Mozilla's thousands of developers have found 113 bugs today alone, and as Jack
Palance would say, the day ain't over yet." but he dosen't write that more then
half of them aren't mark as NEW. so my suggestion is to change the bugs stats on
bugzilla, and instend of writing "X bugs found" it should be: "bugs - new: X,
dup: Y, invalid: Z, unconfirm: F".. and so on.. this will give people better
look on mozilla imho.

I don't think your proposal solve the problem you mentioned. Those who want to
see the bug count as relevant will see it in the future as well, and I don't
think there's anything Bugzilla can do about it.

Still, I think this is valid RFE. It should be resummarized like 'Bug counts
should be split by status' or something similar. I think showing the numbers by
status is enough, resolution-level numbers are rarely that necessary - anyone
disagree?

The User Interface component now belongs to Gerv.  Reassigning all UNCONFIRMED
and NEW (but not ASSIGNED) bugs currently owned by Myk (the previous component
owner) to Gerv.

Reassigning back to Myk.  That stuff about Gerv taking over the User Interface
component turned out to be short-lived.  Please pardon our confusion, and I'm
very sorry about the spam.
