Details

[Affected versions]: - Firefox 57.0b12 [Affected platforms]: - Windows 10x64, [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Launch Firefox. 2. Set privacy.resistFingerprinting to true. 3. Restart Firefox. 4. Install some web extensions (eg. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/easyscreenshot/) . [Expected result]: - The web extension is correctly installed. [Actual result]: - 'This add-on requires a newer version of Firefox (at least version 57.0). You are using Firefox 52.0.' message is displayed, taking in consideration that the tests were performed on Firefox 58.0b12. [Regression range]: - The issue seems to be fixed by another fix on Firefox 59.0a1 since it's not reproducible on latest Nightly build. Here is the pushlog in order to see which fix resolved the issue on Nightly build - https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=1f91961bb79ad06fd4caef9e5dfd546afd5bf42c&tochange=47752e9824da5125cb99c9d8160795b59adcc407
Also reproducible under macOS 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 16.04x64.
