User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0
Build ID: 20171226220358
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download Provider for Google Calendar https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/provider-for-google-calendar/
2. Unzip it and be sure it's compatible with Thunderbird 59.0a1
3. Make it a xpi again
4. Install it in thunderbird
5. Go to lightning. Right click in agenda list, click « New calendar »
6. Select « On the network »
7. Select « Google Agenda »
Actual results:
The « place » text field stays in place and the next button remain grayed out. Impossible to move forward.
Expected results:
The « place » field should have disapeared and the next button must be clickable.

To complete my bug report, it seems the problem exists since the v56: https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/provider-for-google-calendar/reviews/947590/
I totally understand I'm using an alpha software and this implies broken stuff. This report is more about having some news or « agenda » on the availability of a fix, than a real complain.
Thank you for the hard work.

Sorry for the noise, I've moved my issue in the right product and component :s

I think you need the latest gdata-provider 4.0a1 from https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/calendar/lightning/nightly/latest-comm-central/

Recent Thunderbird and Lightning builds require recent Provider for Google Calendar builds. Provider for Google Calendar 3.3 is too old and not compatible with Lightning 6.1a1. Try using a matching nightly build from https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/calendar/lightning/nightly/latest-comm-central/.

Étienne, did using the latest Provider for Google version fix the issue for you? If not, please retry with all extensions except Lightning and the Provider for Google disabled. If you then still see the issue, please check the error console for any errors raised. With my current local build, the button gets enabled when typing a syntactical valid email address like example@google.com (specifically, once you typed the c) and on click the Google oauth popup appears - in any case, please report back.

Oh, I didn't know about the https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/calendar/lightning/nightly/latest-comm-central/ listing. Yes, I confirm it works with the latest gdata-provider 4.0a1. You can close this bug. Sorry for the noise, again :(
