User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0 Build ID: 20171024165158 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install omnibox add-on. 2. Type in omnibox keyword. Actual results: No results from the add-on (just from Google) Expected results: Omnibox API should be supported. Sure there is a little less space on mobile, but Google autocomplete is available, why not give other options to users? Mobile is briefly mentioned in tracking Bug 1267810 only mentioning space concerns. I think it should work the same as Google autocomplete so it seems like a simple one, but maybe there are other concerns too. For now you can test on my SearchAutocomplete add-on <https://addons.mozilla.org/pl/firefox/addon/searchautocomplete/> But I guess I will have to disable installations on Android if there will be no interest in implementing/unlocking omnibox API on Android.
Sorry, I meant tracking Bug 1166831 (where mobile is briefly mentioned).
