Firefox for Android 57.0.1 and 59.0a2 2018-01-02 on Android 6.0.1 (Sony Xperia Z3 Compact)
After I visited wiki.mozilla.org (desktop page shown) and logged in, the mobile page got shown and the menu button at the top left and the search at the top didn't react to taps in portrait mode but only in landscape mode.

Work for me on Samsung A202F Android 10 Firefox for Android 68.8.0. Menu button and search work in both landscape and portrait orientations.
