The add-on does a few things, as mentioned here: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/7opzfk/to_satisfy_your_curiosity_i_clicked_it_more_in/ From what I have tested, the add-on includes a series of remote scripts that get injected to google.com, and indeed auto-closes about:addons as soon as it is opened. Here is the review page: https://reviewers.addons.mozilla.org/en-US/reviewers/review-unlisted/c78b5527c64a403e9728 From the edit add-on page, the guid seems to be {1490068c-d8b7-4bd2-9621-a648942b312c}
The block is now staged. Andreas, please review and push.

Kwan reported a user's concern about this on IRC. Here's a screenshot of the conversation: https://mozilla.logbot.info/firefox/20180116#c14142386 I wasn't sure if this bug had already addressed the problem or if more investigation was needed into some of these extensions: https://sql.telemetry.mozilla.org/queries/4857?p_q=FF%20Tool
A separate bug should be filed for those other add-ons.
