Attached file last-update.log
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 Build ID: 20180114220708 Steps to reproduce: 1.Go to Help>About Nightly 2.Wait for Nightly to download update and "Restart to Update Nightly" to pop up 3.Restart 4.Again go to Help>About Nightly 5.See "Update Failed. Download the latest version" Actual results: "Update Failed. Download the latest version" seen. The update fails for "Unknown reasons" according to the update history. The last-update.log file in the updates folder hints at a crc mismatch while loading source files. My lack of knowledge regarding Firefox's inner working puts me at a loss for what that could mean. I've thus attached the log file. Expected results: Update should have progressed fine.
