1432844 - Inconsistent situation when entering an invalid url

This is happening on latest master 9d0a8beea6eaa9416dc8b28df1d53c59a5ba4996 and v10.x (8718)
Not sure whether this is a bug or not but the behaviour is kind of confusing...

Steps
1-Introduce an invalid url and press enter
2-Before there is an message informing about the wrong url, remove the url and go back or go back directly

Actual
1-The wrong url message, or place can't be reached message should appear faster if it does not appear before 2- the wrong url is in the url text field. User is in a view like in a web page (we can see the Page Options Menu) but we are at the same time in the Home Screen Panel

Expected
The not possible to reach to that website should appear faster if not, there should be a way to remove the url from the url text field so that the status of the app is consistent
