User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0 Build ID: 20180118215408 Steps to reproduce: I'm running an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) with additional two monitors. On one of the monitors using an HTML select element produces a vairty of bugs. If I move Firefox to the iMac the select element functions correctly. All displays are using their native resolution. Actual results: - It does not show all the options in a select when there are many and you have to scroll. I can select them by clicking the down arrow but I can see what I'm selecting. The scroll bar disappears in the box. - Sometimes the option box appears 200ish pixels above the select element. - Sometimes the options box will open an close again immediately and I have to click on it three or four times before it will stay open and I can select an option.
Here is a cloudapp video showing the scrolling and position issue. https://cl.ly/1l0e14242f46

I don't have an OSX setup similar to yours, so I can't confirm this issue, but let's move it to a better component in order to have a competent opinion and move forward with the issue. Have you noticed or could you check if this is a 58 regression and also what is the behavior when you run Nightly 60? - you can do this by installing FF56 or FF57 and try the same scenario. A bit off topic maybe, I also experienced something somehow similar with this issue on my home Windows configuration, where I have added a 27" 2k monitor display into a normal resolution 2 x 24" monitors configuration and I've noticed that in several applications the position and overall rendering of elements has major issues, but I haven't noticed anything amiss with Firefox. My initial I shall recheck asap. using your use case.
Component: Untriaged → Layout: Form Controls
Product: Firefox → Core
I just started using Firefox again so I'm not sure. I'll try and find some time to test the FF56 or FF57 and Nightly 60.
