The reverse (opening something in Firefox from Chrome) already works because of our share handlers, so I'd say it's up to those other browsers to implement similar share handlers if they want to offer something similar.
Besides, this is already easily possible by installing e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tasomaniac.openwith (https://github.com/tasomaniac/OpenLinkWith), so I'm not sure it's worth duplicating that effort for Firefox.
