When finished importing mail from Netscape Communicator 4.7, I found that only
the Sent folder would display the Recipient field with the To: field value from
the email header. Email I've sent is sorted into a current "Sent" folder and
older email is stored in folders I've created. I have a Master Sent folder
created with the current "Sent" folder named "Current" inside this master
folder. Old sent email messages (over 2 -6 months periods at a time) are moved
to new subfolders of the Master Sent folder. This way I can keep all email I've
sent. In Netscape Communicator 4.7 the subfolders storing old sent email would
still show the "To" value in the Recipient field and kept a Recipient field.
This allowed easy searching and access to all my old sent email. Mozilla after
importation shows in the subfolders that store old email the Recipient field but
with the "From:" value in the email header which is me! I have lost the display
of who the email was sent to originally. The information is still in the email
headers, just not parsed correctly by the import utility. Thanks, my email is
dhurst@kennesaw.edu.
