From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 20020417 When the broser can't find a web pages, the broser shows an alert "xxx could not be found. Please check the name and try again." If you drag a mail and try to move it some time, the Mozilla freeze. After the freeze you can roll the mails body, but you can't do anything else. Then you can solve the problem if you use ctrl+alt+del. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Write a not valid URL in the broser (for example: wwww.mozilla.org) and press ENTER. 2. Then drag a mail and wait. (Don't drop that.)

Can confirm the behavior for Build 2002051408 on WinMe. The alert window has a title bar, but no content. But it's no real freeze, as you can change mozilla windows with ALT+TAB. And you can resolve the hang with hitting ESC a few times.
still happening with 1.1b ?
The Mozilla 1.2a [ Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 ] has this bug too.
likely a duplicate of now fixed bug 96504, but at least a dup of bug 100180 - resolving as such. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 100180 ***
