User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36 Edge/16.16299

Steps to reproduce:

Tried to follow URL links within several emails on my Windows Laptop user firefox browser.
Windows 10, version 1709
Firefox Version 58.0.1 (64-bit)
        


Actual results:

Attempts to undertake URL and then drops back to the email without actioning the URL.


Expected results:

Should have brought up a new tab and gone to a new address

Please test if the issue can be reproduced in the safe mode of Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

probably a duplicate of bug 1433591 which got fixed in 58.0.2

Updating to 58.0.2 fixed this problem.
