This could be a follow up to bug 455694. Detaching a tab should now create a new window, instead of just showing a thumbnail of that tabs content, similar to Google chrome. Why? 1. Looks nicer & more user friendly. 2. This could also serve as a starting point to implement bug 566510 in a cleaner way.

Yeah, this would be nice. A proposal for this is already on file so I'll close this bug as a duplicate of it.
