Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux ppc; en-US; rv:1.0.0+) Gecko/20020510 BuildID: 2002050923 When clicking on bookmark button/pop-down menu in personnal toolbar a strange mouse cursor looking like a plus in a left-upper corner appears, with a drag and drop icon. Mozilla is freezed until next external X11 clear event (like clicking on another window). Then the menu close butthe drag and drop icon follows the mouse cursor until next X11 event. At this time, Mozilla start to access some random link in the bookmark or sometime try to access http://bookmark-button.(my-default-network). Mozilla becomes from that point very slow as a browser (taking dozens of minutes to download and render any html page, even from local disks) and rendering is sometime instable (unable to get images from sites or css, ...). This is very reproducible on my system. I hope you will quickly slash this one. Thank you for the good job. mata ne Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click once on bookmark button in personnal toolbar 2.that's it 3. Actual Results: A strange mouse cursor looking like a plus in a left-upper corner appears, with a drag and drop icon. Expected Results: Bookmark menu drop down gently with an ordinary cursor and i am able to click on a bookmark entry in order to access the chosen page, without freezing Mozilla Tested on LinuxPPC kernel 2.2.16 glibc 2.2.4 XFree86 4.0 gnome 1.2 and Debian PPC testing kernel 2.4.17 with gnome 1.4 The previous nightly build from May the 8th had the same comportment My previous one from around April the 15th was fine though.
I would like to confirm this exact behaviour on Linux build 2002051310. This is probably also a duplicate of bug 144251.
