User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 Build ID: 20180208193705 Steps to reproduce: 1. go to Youtube 2. play any video in fullscreen 3. move mouse to where dock is to try to unhide it Actual results: Nothing Expected results: Dock should have appeared
Desired behavior can be viewed when putting Firefox in the Mac fullscreen mode before putting the video into fullscreen itself.
Thanks for reporting this bug! This is reproducible for me on Fx 58, 59 and 60 versions.

Switching Firefox to fullscreen before the actual video is indeed a viable workaround, but this behaviour should be addressed anyway. The expected behaviour of fullscreen apps on macOS is that the Dock is available by "pushing firmly" on the screen edge the Dock is living. Also, on machines with more than one screen, the Dock cannot be shown on any screens when one screen is occupied by a fullscreen video. And a third and possibly related issue is that the "minimize" button is greyed out on all Firefox windows on all screens when a video is playing fullscreen. This is also solved with the workaround.
I guess switching a Firefox window to fullscreen uses a different API than switching a video to fullscreen, and the latter should also call the former.
