[Notes]: - This is a follow-up to bug 1433324 to take care of the two prefs if they were changed prior to their removal [Affected versions]: - Nightly 60.0a1 [Affected Platforms]: - All Windows - All Mac - All Linux [Prerequisites]: - in a new profile made on Nightly 59 or under, change the following in about:config: Set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled to false Set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.aboutHome.enabled to false [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Open Nightly 59 with the profile from prerequisites. 2. Update to Nightly 60. 3. Search for the prefs from prerequisites in about:config. 4. Observe the results. [Expected results]: - The two prefs are not found. [Actual results]: - The two prefs still exist. [Additional notes]: - Flipping the prefs on or off does not do anything.
This is normal behavior for pref removal. It supports downgrading and has no meaningful downsides.
