HTML comment tags in TEXTAREA gets removed while viewing/editing form

NOTE:
1) same problems with Mozilla rv:1.0rc2 and rv:1.0rc1 on Win98
2) angle brackets were replaced by appropriate square brackets (by me! :-)
i had to retype one of the www_board file on my home_page due to that bug
(using Netscape this time :-)

Have you entered HTMl Code in a form, or do you have saved a page via
View source/Save as or File/save as or have you edited this in the Composer ?

just noticed that my problem has been reported already in bug 133044
i agree with Michael Lucas:
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133044#c17
it seems like that this is THE ONLY PROBLEM so far wich will prevent me from
using Mozilla.. :-((
