HTML comment tags in TEXTAREA gets removed while viewing/editing form *************************** Example: =======in document source [textarea name="data" rows=22 cols=85 WRAP=OFF] [html][head] [title]This is Title[/title] [/head] [body] the strings below shouldn't be displayed [--This is commented--] [--This is commented--] [--This is commented--] [--This is commented--] [/textarea] [/body][/html] =======on the screen (after saving the form's contents to the file on the server) the strings below shouldn't be displayed This is commented This is commented This is commented This is commented *************************** NOTE: 1) same problems with Mozilla rv:1.0rc2 and rv:1.0rc1 on Win98 2) angle brackets were replaced by appropriate square brackets (by me! :-) i had to retype one of the www_board file on my home_page due to that bug (using Netscape this time :-) thanks, Viktor -TheSkier- http://sopka.sakhalin.su PS: I LIKE MOZILLA VERY MUCH!! Have you entered HTMl Code in a form, or do you have saved a page via View source/Save as or File/save as or have you edited this in the Composer ?

just noticed that my problem has been reported already in bug 133044 i agree with Michael Lucas: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133044#c17 it seems like that this is THE ONLY PROBLEM so far wich will prevent me from using Mozilla.. :-((
