Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36 Edge/16.16299 Steps to reproduce: 1.Open the link "https://my.visualstudio.com/subscriptions/" and login to the portal. 2."Subscriptions" pane will appear. 3.Navigate to the "Table" and then navigate to "Visual Studio Enterprise" link under the table and Observe the NVDA behavior. Actual results: NVDA announces as "Table editable, Visual Studio Enterprise link" Expected results: NVDA should announce the 'Table name, row and column number with name of the link". It should not announce as editable table. Visually impaired users, who rely on screen reader will not know the elements on the table and also they may thought the table is editable.
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build ID 20180227100126 I was unable to reproduce this on the latest Firefox Release or the latest Nightly using Visual Studio Dev Essentials. I think the "table" refers to the table in which all subscriptions are listed, but in my case NVDA would just say "Visual Studio Dev Essentials" when I would hover the link. I've used NVDA version 2017.4.

It's not clear, Narrator is the name of the built-in screen reader of Windows whereas NVDA is another screen reader. The bug title is about Narrator and the first comment is about NVDA. We should determine which one is correct. Best regards.
Right, since we do not support Narrator. So any bugs there are probably due to our very incomplete UI Automation implementation. I just tried to reproduce this, but am redirected to a different page due to my account, and there, I do not see an editable table, just a normal one that works flawlessly.
@stephpic could you please tell us if this issue is about the Windows screen reader or about NVDA?

Sorry for confusion - this was observed using NVDA Version: 2017.3 Expectation is that NVDA would not announce "editable", and would announce "Table name, row and column number with name of the link".
