Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0
Build ID: 20180223100113
Steps to reproduce:
1. Load up a site which has /favicon.ico
2. Look at the icon in firefox, keep the site tab open
3. Upload a new icon to the webserver which looks visibly different
4. Press CTRL+SHIFT+F5 with the open site tab to reload everything from the page
Actual results:
Favicon is NOT updated
Expected results:
Favicon SHOULD be updated. In Chromium, it works fine. It's a bit of a nuisance for web design where you might want to see whether the newest icon shows up ok and stands out sufficiently etc.
Summary: CTRL+SHIFT+F5 doesn't clear/reload site icon → CTRL+SHIFT+R doesn't clear/reload site icon
Sorry, I meant CTRL+SHIFT+R (the reload that is supposed to clear the site cache)
