Steps to reproduce:

Accessing the camera with Firefox no longer works. To test this, I go to https://talky.io/some-random-string-here and allow access to both microphone and camera.


Actual results:

The page just shows a black image.


Expected results:

The page should show my webcam image.

This used to work fine with earlier versions of Firefox, several months ago. It still works fine in Chromium, so the drivers don't seem to be the culprit.

1. In about:config, do you have media.autoplay.enabled set to false?
2. Can you reproduce this issue in a brand new profile [1] in the latest Nightly [2]?
3. If no and yes respectively, please try to find the regression range [3].

Ah yes, I do!  I once had a significant amount of mobile data used up by some silly website auto-playing a video I wasn't interested in.  I was not aware this has any adverse effects on WebRTC; is that a bug?

Thanks for the update. This is a duplicate of bug 1182329 which is fixed in Nightly (Firefox 60).
