User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0 Build ID: 20180209193630 Steps to reproduce: KDE 5.8.8 Dolphin 16.04.3 1. Clean profile, drag .html or .txt file from Dolphin explorer window to browser tab for opening Actual results: The local file is not opened in Firefox, instead it sends a string of Unicode characters to the search. Expected results: Local file is opened by Firefox. Works as expected in Chromium. Couldn't reproduce with latest KDE and Dolphin versions.

Can't reproduce it. If I drop a text file or an image, Firefox opens it.

I'm on Wayland though.

I can reproduce when dopping the text/image file inside Firefox window.
Firefox opens the file as expected when I drop it on Firefox entry in task manager (bar on bottom that displays running apps).

Tested with Firefox 88.0.1 on X11 session of neon unstable distro.
