The network monitor panel included in the Addon Debugging Window doesn't currently filter out the network requests that are not coming from the extension pages (or descendants, e.g. an sub-frame of an extension page where a regular webpage has been loaded) from the logged network requests (and so there could be requests that are actually originated by Firefox internals, e.g. the requests related to the safebrowsing or other extensions).
