Details

In Edit > Preferences > Navigator > Tabbed Browsing we have a few options Nearly every option in Mozilla's preferences controls a single variable (see advanced > scripts and windows, for example). However, here we see Open Tabs Instead of Windows for [] middle click or control click of links [] control+enter in location bar Yet, these should be three options. What I would like is a separate checkbox for "middle click" and "control click". This way, I can browse the way I want to, and I have separate shortcuts depending on how I want to open my windows. Currently, I cannot set a way to have a shortcut to open in a new window while simultaneously having a shortcut to open in a tabbed window. As a result, this is essentially an either/or decision as to whether or not I'm going to be able to use tabs efficiently. Plus, this can't be too big of a change to implement, and will very simply add diversity to the configuration of mozilla.
