Details
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020510 BuildID: 2002051009 Nearly all MailingLists have special header information, like e.g.: List-Id: GnuPG development <gnupg-devel.gnupg.org> or X-Mailing-List: <debian-news@lists.debian.org> I'd like MozillaMail to give me a special option if i get a mail with such a header that says "create filter on mailing list". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: create a filter Actual Results: i need to fill in the header Information by myself Expected Results: if i got a mail from a mailing list i'd like to have the option to choose (Create Filter on Maillist) KMail (> 1.4) has that feature, and i'd love it in mozilla.

Isn't this feature available already? Tools|Mail Filters... New... In the filter, click the Header dropdown; at the bottom is "Customize..." Customize... Type in name of new header(s) Select and complete definition of rule. What else do you need?

MASS-CHANGE: This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state. If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way. If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar). If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state. Query tag for this change: mass-UNCONFIRM-20090614

I also would like to see this feature implemented in thunderbird :-) Thanks
This is an issue not only with the Seamonkey but also with Thunderbird. I can't figure out how to change the "product affected" field in Bugzilla. + Confirming this problem in Thunderbird 3.1.3
