Noticed this with the latest nightly (61.0a1 (2018-03-23) (64-bit)) seen on treeherder or irccloud Some sections of the screen aren't being redrawn as they should. Pressing refresh fix it, but if you move the window out of focus and back in focus, you can see the effect Attach are two screen captures: one after refresh, and one after moving the window out of focus and back and scrolling a bit.

Is this consistently reproducible for you? If so, can you get a regression range?

(In reply to Kartikaya Gupta (email:kats@mozilla.com) from comment #3) > Is this consistently reproducible for you? If so, can you get a regression > range? no, it's not consistent. It does appear to be related to scrolling.. Like it happened again this time, just looking at this bug, I went to do a screen capture and suddenly it refreshed. I had never seen this happening until 2 days ago.

Are you on Linux/Windows? It wouldn't surprise me if this were fallout from bug 1447719 somehow, the timing seems to fit when you reported this bug. It might be worth flipping browser.startup.blankWindow to false to see if it still happens. That being said, I don't have a theory as to why this happens. If it does turn out to be a regression from that bug, maybe it'll get fixed along the with the other regressions from that bug. If not I can investigate.

Actually this seems like a tab warming regression, same as bug 1447193.
Depends on: 1447193

While I did see it in Linux a few times, I'm mostly seeing this on mac.

This should be fixed with bug 1447193. Please reopen or comment if you still see this issue in the latest Nightly.
