Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0
Build ID: 20180319141609
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new tab (ctrl+t, file menu)
- Type any web address in the address bar and press enter or click the "go to" arrow at the right
Actual results:
The web address is loaded in the current tab. The empty tab is registered as an item in the tab's history, and the "back" button" becomes enabled to show this.
Expected results:
Empty tabs should not appear in the tab's history. ie, the web address i typed should be the first (and last, at this point) entry in the tab's history. The "back" and "forward" buttons should be disabled to reflect that there is only one history item, and it's the current one.
Maybe a user-defined setting could toggle this behaviour? Anyway personally i find it really annoying.
